Ubiquiti UniFi Networks in New Jersey, Without the Annual Licensing Bill
We have moved most of our clients to Ubiquiti UniFi, and it has gone well. You buy the hardware once and you own it. There is no per-device license renewing every year, and nothing stops working because an invoice was missed. We design, deploy, and support the full UniFi stack.
What the license actually costs
Figures below are from published 2026 vendor pricing comparisons for a 25-person office, not our own numbers. Your environment will differ, and we will price yours properly rather than quote a blog post at you.

Where UniFi fits
The honest part
Ubiquiti is not the right answer for everything, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling. The push into the enterprise is real and it is shipping, not a roadmap: Layer 3 campus switching, 25G fiber, stacking, aggregation switches built for high availability, and firewalls doing tens of gigabits of intrusion prevention. But it is new. The platforms it is chasing have been in those rooms for twenty years, and for the very largest multi-site estates that track record still counts for something.
For the businesses we actually serve, UniFi comfortably covers eighty to ninety percent of what they need, at a fraction of the lifetime cost. That is why we have moved most of our clients onto it over the years, and why it has worked. If you are the exception, we will tell you.
Ubiquiti partner
Ubiquiti will not design your network. We will.
Ubiquiti runs real support now, including 24/7 chat and priority phone access to their engineers. But their own support policy says their engineers cannot recommend devices, cannot design your network, and cannot configure it for you. It tells you to find a consultant or a reseller instead. That is the gap, and it is the entire job.
