For this small-scale educational facility, we delivered a turnkey network, surveillance, and support solution:

• Wireless Camera Deployment: Installed two HD, battery-powered wireless cameras with secure Wi-Fi connectivity and cloud-based video storage for continuous monitoring of entry points.

• Desktop Support & RMM Integration: Configured two staff workstations with remote monitoring & management tools, antivirus, and automated backup agents—enabling proactive maintenance without on-site IT.

• Network Segmentation & Optimization: Created a dedicated VLAN for camera traffic, fine-tuned Wi-Fi settings for reliable camera links, and optimized switch QoS for smooth desktop and video performance.

Key Challenges

• Infrastructure Constraints: No PoE ports or cabling available for cameras—required careful placement of battery units and robust Wi-Fi planning.

• Secure Remote Access: Needed encrypted, firewall-friendly tunnels so administrators and faculty could view live and recorded footage off-site.

• Classroom Disruption: All hardware installs and software rollouts were performed during evenings and weekends to avoid impacting school sessions.

• Rapid Deployment: Both wireless cameras and desktops went live within 24 hours, with zero downtime during school hours.
